However, international travel was paralyzed due to COVID-19. The international EPC firm overseeing the project faced a dilemma: they needed a high-performance boiler for a specialized fuel—Palm Kernel Shells (PKS)—but their procurement team could not visit China to inspect the manufacturing facilities. In an industry where “seeing is believing,” trust became the rarest commodity.

2. Digital Transparency: Winning a 5-Month Competitive Selection

Yuji Boiler competed against several global manufacturers during a rigorous 5-month evaluation. To bridge the physical gap, we implemented a “Fully Transparent Digital Communication” strategy:

Live Virtual Factory Tours:

Through high-definition streaming, the Indonesian team inspected Yuji’s automated welding workshops, material labs, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) processes in real-time.

Full-System Engineering:

Beyond the boiler itself, Yuji’s technical team provided a complete turnkey layout, including piping for water, steam, and flue gas.

3. Technical Core: Optimized for Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) Combustion

To meet the client’s demand for high-purity steam and stable 12.5 bar pressure, Yuji implemented several customized features:

Smart Automatic Fuel Agitator:

PKS is lightweight and prone to “bridging” in the hopper. Our custom-designed agitator ensures a continuous, clog-free fuel feed, which is essential for stable steam output.

Double-Drum Structure & Steam-Water Separation:

The SZL double-drum design provides larger water capacity and thermal inertia. Coupled with a mechanical steam separator, it guarantees high-quality steam even during heavy load fluctuations.

Anti-Slagging & Cleaning Technology:

We optimized the heating surface spacing and integrated an automatic soot-blowing system to handle the ash characteristics of PKS, preventing pressure drops caused by clogging.

High-Temperature Resistant Grate:

Specialized alloy materials were used for the chain grate to withstand the intense furnace heat generated by high-calorific PKS fuel.

In 2022, as the project entered the installation phase, Yuji Boiler made a bold decision: to dispatch an after-sales engineer to Indonesia despite the travel restrictions.
After navigating complex quarantine protocols, Yuji’s engineer arrived in Surabaya and worked on-site for 15 consecutive days. He oversaw the precision alignment of steam pipes, optimized the air-to-fuel ratio for PKS combustion, and conducted comprehensive safety training for local operators.
